Many times when I do things, I don't charge for my work. There is a whole underlying story here which isn't mine to tell. When I decided to dive into engraving, it was for this woman, who's story touched me because she is going through a difficult time. Many of us are going through difficult times, but when a loved one is sick, it's even harder.
She has a light up base and the disks I made were for each seasonal holiday, July 4th, Mother's day, Father's day. etc. I can't remember every one I made off hand, I know there were two Christmas ones and she immediately put in the Happy New Year disk. I felt so bad it didn't get out for Christmas, but it made my morning knowing that she received them and was very happy. I wrapped each individual disk in tissue paper which made a rainbow. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. So when she opened it, she had an array of color, meant as a promise. I am so glad she loved them. When things settle down, I will make some for my Aunt to sell in NY.
