Designer, founder and visionary MeMe More created Paper Doll Bridal as a tangible representation of her belief that though fashion has it's time, style is forever! It is personal. For her, style is found in our most unique attributes, and she finds a way to make that illuminate just for you. Beginning in 1989 with a close friend's wedding gown, her friend saw her talent and bought supplies demanding that she would have nothing to wear if Meme didn't create her wedding dress. Meme did not think she could do it, but through her friend's persistence, she made her first commissioned bridal gown! After moving to Atlanta, other promoters and clients began to follow suit in commissioning Meme for fashion shows and weddings alike, leading her all the way to her Forest Park, GA atelier, Paper Doll Bridal. Mellissa Davis (a.k.a. Meme) has numerous accolades, not to exclude those from Bailey's Irish Cream®, alongside The Coalition of 100 Black Women naming her as one of Atlanta's top new designers. She has been featured in magazines like Jezebel, Authentic Weddings and E-Style magazine. E-Style covered a Magic Johnson's Celebrate Success fashion show hosted by and featuring male super model Tyson Beckford, along with several new top designers, including MeMe and her collection. She was humbled when commissioned to create a custom collection that was featured in Austria in a show for world renowned hair stylist, Paul Mitchell.
