🚨🧯 UV levels are maxing out at 12.5 this week in South Florida and parking lot temps are measuring at 165°+ on the ground. Here's a few tips on how to avoid your car literally bursting into flames 🚗🔥

🪟Always crack your windows slightly to allow heat to escape and prevent dangerous pressure buildup inside the cabin

🌴 Park in shade whenever possible — under trees, parking garages, or covered structures

🕶️ Use a windshield sunshade to block direct sun from heating the interior and dashboard

☀️ Avoid parking on asphalt that’s been baking in direct sun — it radiates additional heat upward into the vehicle

🔥Never leave flammable items in a hot car: lighters, aerosol cans, hand sanitizer, glasses, or magnifying objects that can concentrate sunlight

🔋🪫Keep your battery terminals clean and connections tight — heat accelerates battery corrosion and can cause electrical failures

🛞 Check your tire pressure regularly; heat causes air to expand and overinflated tires are at greater risk on hot pavement

🔬Don’t leave anything that could act as a lens near windows — clear water bottles are a real fire risk

💧Have your cooling system and radiator fluid checked before summer; overheating is far more likely in extreme heat

🛺 If your car has been sitting in the sun, open all doors for a minute before getting in to let the trapped hot air escape

Quiksilver riders Jackson Bunch, Nalu Deodato, Michael Dunphy & Sterling Makish are joining us this Thursday, June 25 for the Quiksilver Young Guns 2026 Movie Night at our Deerfield Beach flagship — and is pulling up with the 🍕.
