MEET THE FOUNDER 🌊 (read below)
This is Nora, founder of Beau Blush and the heart behind every rail of coastal boho pieces you see here.
She has spent almost 15 years in fashion. Nora started in the backstock room steaming and tagging clothes and worked her way up to sales manager and then general manager for a French fashion brand. At the same time she styled women privately in San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego, helping them find outfits that felt like them.
At the height of her career her health shifted. She was eventually diagnosed with EDS and IIH, and the symptoms slowly stole her energy and joy. High pressure corporate fashion stopped feeling human. After vowing to never feel disposed by a cooperation that treated humans like numbers she stepped away to focus on her health, learn to live with her symptoms and reconnect with the parts of life that made her feel alive again, including fashion.
From that season Beau Blush was born.
Nora wanted a softer and more intentional way to dress women, away from fast fashion and toward high quality pieces that last. Living on the West Coast with a deep love for the ocean and coastal life, she fell for a relaxed coastal boho aesthetic you can wear to brunch, the market, travel days or date nights and still feel like yourself.
Beau Blush is also shaped by Arab, Italian and Spanish style. Nora spent months working in those countries, learning color, pattern and styling in ways she could not have learned here. Bringing that inspiration home has always been part of her dream.
Her philosophy is simple: style can change, but with the right quality your pieces can grow with you through every version of yourself. She knows what it feels like to struggle just to get out of bed, and how sometimes the smallest act of power is putting on a beautiful outfit anyway.
In an industry that often pressures women to be more or different just to sell more, Nora is building a kinder corner of fashion where customers become friends and every woman is seen as more than a sales number.
If you made it this far, thank you for being here. Drop a heart in the comments or tell us where you are from so we can say hi. 🤍
