40% Off Storewide Clearance Sale! Come see us this Saturday, 4/11 from 10-2 for our storewide clearance sale! All merchandise (excluding candles and products from our local vendors) will be 40% off as we prepare for our move to Painted Tree Boutique in Lewis Center. This sale includes purses, skin care from Dandelion Naturals, snacks and flavored peanuts from the Carolina Peanut Factory, jewelry, cards, SCOUT bags, books, games, stationery, painting kits, and MORE! We expect to be fully moved to the new store in the next couple of weeks and we would love to see you before we go!

✨ BIG NEWS - WE’RE MOVING! ✨

Friends, I have been waiting for the right moment to share this news, and I think it has finally come. Gem Garden Arts is entering a brand new chapter, and I couldn’t be more excited to share it with you 💚

In early April, we’ll be moving into a beautiful new space inside Painted Tree Boutiques in Lewis Center, where we’ll be teaming up with Young + Wild Co. Clothing for a fresh, combined shopping experience. Think a little more hip, a little more boho… but still filled with the same heart and many of the products you know and love.

But Delaware is still home. And we’re so proud to share that our handmade soy candles will soon be available at Goat Local (more details coming soon 👀). Goat Local has carried my stationery and card designs for quite some time, and we are *thrilled* that they will be the new Delaware home for our candles, as well.

This move will give us the flexibility to get back out into the community more, which on a personal level I really miss. And we'll be popping up at the Delaware Farmers Market this summer and connecting with you in new ways!

💛 To our Franklin Street customers and neighboring businesses: thank you! Truly. We’ve loved every conversation, every visit, every moment with you. Getting to know you has been the best part of having the Franklin Street shop, and we hope you'll stop and see us at the Farmers Market this summer or come join us for a class (details to come). We would love to stay in touch!

For now, the shop will be open Saturdays only (yes—there will still be sourdough 😉), and we’ll be running some sales as we get ready for the move.

SMALL LOAVES AND BAGELS ARE BACK! Last weekend's smaller loaves of sourdough were a huge hit - they were sold out by mid day! Tomorrow is sure to be busy considering bagels are back, as well. Baked goods arrive at 10 am and are available while supplies last. (Or until 4 pm. After that, no sourdough for you!) See you tomorrow, my friends.

Good morning friends! While I'm still recovering from what I'm now calling the Delaware Downer (i.e. worst cold virus ever), the shop will reopen today thanks to my best friend Ginny who'll be there from 12-4:30. Stop by and say hi! I'm hoping one more day of rest will help me kick this bug to the curb, because tomorrow is Sourdough Saturday and we will be open as usual from 10-4!
