Announcing the first DBS X Surf Lotus collab, this one is extra specialđź’«
Mitch and I have been friends since high school and were lucky enough to share the same extended friend group. We’ve spent countless hours on the beach together and I can remember just a few years ago talking about both of our brands and ideas for the future. There are so many challenges you face being a one man show trying to compete in an industry filled with giants. Mitch and I share the same passion and resilience which propels our brands forward daily. I have so much respect for what Mitch has been able to create and proud to see my brother killing it all year long! During summer we both were sponsors of the skim competition and that’s when the collab talks started. Since then DBS and Surf Lotus have been releasing our own drops while also collaborating with everyone from local artists to restaurants. It is only right that we end the year off dropping an absolute heater!
The color way is inspired from the most popular Surf Lotus hat of the summer - reimagined with Surf Lotus script font (puff embroidery), the DBS bodykit proving a 5-panel, A-frame crown, embroidered DBS side hit & they’re iconic suede brim. We didn’t cut any corners on this one - top of the line quality met with attention to every detail. This is one of our most limited releases to date.
The hat will be available for purchase tomorrow 5:00pm @ the Surf Lotus shed & if you can’t make it to schellville be ready on the website because it will be live on surflotus.com at 5:00pm as well!
