I have been struggling with posting about this moment all summer. My sweet baby girl has graduated and is ready to fly and while I know she is ready and will do great in her next adventure, I can’t help but grieve for myself and the end of an era. Having spent so much time of my married adult life in raising two smart, caring, talented young adults, I find myself at a precipice wondering what’s next. Change is hard as I know all too well. We will all be fine on the other side of this change but it doesn’t make it easy. We are navigating through this next era as empty nesters or as I prefer to call it “bird launchers” with the anxiety and exhilaration that comes with pursuing the unknown. We will be fine but need to remember to give our selves the grace to feel all the feels as we figure it out together.

Love you baby girl and wish you the very best at Case Western Reserve University! They are lucky to have you!

I am constantly amazed at how you show up to this world every day and on your 18th birthday, it is crazy to think this is still just the beginning! You truly have had so many hats you have worn these last 17 years as a daughter, sister, friend, student, dancer, actress, model, singer, songwriter and the list goes on. The Spring 2023 season has come to a close and it is time to say goodbye in more ways than one.

As some of you know, I have made the tough decision to retire as a cabi stylist after 20 seasons of faithfully serving so many of you. One of the greatest joys I have received from running this business is getting to meet and know so many of you. I have loved helping you pamper yourselves and seeing you walk taller and with more confidence as you walk out of your closet in your cabi cutest for so many years. As my best is getting closer to becoming empty, I know the right thing to do is spend more of time with my family. While I will be spending less time with my cabi family, I am not going away completely. I still plan on hosting at least 1 show each season - I just can't say goodbye to all of those cute clothes! If you want to join me at my show, I would love to see you - so please let me know if you want an invite!

For those of you who wish to continue hosting your own shows, please do let me know and I will pass along your information to another stylist so you don't have to miss out on beautiful clothes every season.

Bless you my sweet darling girl on your sixteenth year in this world. I am so proud of everything you are and will become from your intellectual curiousity and your empathetic heart to your creative soul and ambitious outlook. I miss my baby girl but I can’t help and smile because when I close my eyes you still are and always be my lil one. Happy Birthday!
