Appreciation post for my bad bitch best friend for both rocking the hell out of some custom sunnies I made for them, but more importantly for being the FIRST black rave creator to have a curated ravewear collection with a larger brand!! And it's SO SICK and accessible 🥹

I may be biased, but I can't think of anyone else that deserves this more than Alex. She really is the BLUEPRINT for speaking on issues in our community that people wouldn't ever have the guts to, and my biggest inspiration for doing the same myself. ❤️

✨️🌈Meet the Artist🌈✨️

Hi friends! I know I've gotten quite a few new people here recently, so I figured I'd introduce myself for those of y'all that don't know me!

My name's Caitlyn (they/she), and I am the owner and designer behind Rainbow Rave Hats. I am a nonbinary and q***r artist that currently lives in Denver, CO and I have been running my business since 2021. I started this as a dream of mine after realizing that my initial career path was not in the cards for me, especially as someone that is Autistic and disabled (I have EDS, neurocardiogenic syncope, and chronic migraines, just to name a few😅). While this isn't my full time gig anymore, it's my full time passion and my favorite thing to do. ❤️

While the EDM and rave communities were my initial inspiration for this, I am inspired by SO many things, including drag, ballroom, the burner scene, cosplay, the k!nk scene, and soooo many other places, and I want to work with them ALLLLL.

Yes, I'm a raver at heart, but I do love ALL kinds of music! Some of my favorite artists regardless of genre are Tame Impala, Lane 8, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Beyonce, Slowdive, Eliminate, Knocked Loose, Doechii, the list goes on. 😅 And my favorite festivals I've attended are Bonnaroo and ARC Music Festival, with plans to attend King Gizzard's festival Field of Vision here this summer!🐊

In case you haven't noticed, yes, I am a loud and proud advocate for authentic inclusivity, meaning representing people of ALL kinds regardless of race, skin color, gender identity/expression, body type, disability, or anything, all with the intention of giving these people a platform they maybe wouldn't have before. Not for me to gain clout, but because it's the right thing to do. With that, I am also a very loud advocate for marginalized people's rights and protections, and recognizing how our communities were molded by them.
