Fashion Denver supports Colorado designers through our seasonal fashion markets, fashion events, and business development. We used to have a boutique and showroom but closed it down January 28th, 2012 to focus on business development.

Four years ago, I met Shane when his vision for a revolutionary high heel was just an idea beginning to take shape. Today, I had the absolute pleasure of sitting down with Shane and his beautiful wife, Caitlin, to see that dream come to life!

With Shane serving as CEO and bringing his expertise as an orthopedic surgeon, and Caitlin serving as COO and helping lead the company, this husband-and-wife duo is bringing something exciting to the world of women's footwear!

Beautiful, sexy high heels designed with a deeper understanding of how our feet actually work! Because who says fashion and function can't walk hand in hand?!

And can we talk about these SHOES?! 😍👠

There is something so incredibly inspiring about watching an idea grow from a conversation into an actual product that's about to hit the market!

We LOVE seeing people dream big, take chances, and bring something new into the world!

Tonight, a vision takes flight. 🕊️✨
There is something absolutely wonderful about watching a designer’s imagination travel from an idea, to a sketch, to fabric, movement, music and finally a living, breathing experience.

Tonight, we get to see designer Skye Barker Maa’s vision come to life with The Last Afternoon Fashion Show, and it is so much more than fashion. It’s poignant. Beautiful. Creative. Thought-provoking. And even spiritual.

This is what we love about fashion as art. It can tell a story, stir something inside of us and transport us somewhere we didn’t expect to go.
Skye, thank you for dreaming this up and for inviting us into your world. We are so grateful to be part of bringing this beautiful vision to life tonight. 🕊️🤍

The Pink Party is coming up Saturday, October 3 at Sterling Event Space, and we’re looking for 1–2 photographers to help capture this beautiful night of fashion, community, celebration and purpose. 🪩✨

The Pink Party raises funds to support breast cancer research and grants for Colorado women facing financial hardship during breast cancer treatment.

We’d LOVE to connect with photographers who may be interested in donating their time as an in-kind event partner. We also know your talent and time are valuable, so there is a small photography budget available as well. 🩷

Woman Crush Wednesday goes to the unstoppable Nikki Strickler, producer of Denver Fashion Week and absolute powerhouse human. ✨🩷👏

Spring DFW was a beautiful whirlwind of creativity, and Nikki pours her whole heart into making it happen. From coordinating countless moving pieces behind the scenes to championing Denver’s creative community, her energy seems nearly limitless.

And can we also talk about this look?! 🔥 Cool, confident, editorial energy all day long. Whether she’s behind the scenes producing or stepping in front of the camera, she brings creativity and style so naturally.

Denver is lucky to have someone who works this hard to create space for designers, artists, models, photographers, and dreamers to shine.

Now somebody please make this woman a snack, hand her a cozy blanket, and let her sleep for 14 hours straight. 😆💛
