Here is your reminder that this month we are supporting Save Sweetwater Lake as our charity partner.

Sweetwater Lake was purchased by the community to be available as public land for recreation. However, state developers are looking to turn the area into a state park. And while the community is not against state parks in general, due to the limited accessibility of one-lane roads, potential fire hazards, landslide probability, and weather, and for the protection of the natural species that live there, the community is fighting to keep the land public, but not developed into a state park.
