This one stings.🐝

The first photo is a tumbler currently being sold by a company in China. The next photos are mine.
I came up with my Jack-o-Melon Summerween tumbler in 2023. I designed the jack-o-melon face myself, created the concept, and started making and selling them that year. My timeline proves when this idea first existed.🍉🎃

Before anyone asks, yes, I know how copyright works. No, I didn't register this design. And even if I had, unless I had international protection and the money to take on a massive overseas company, there isn't much I could realistically do.💰

The bigger issue is that small creators come up with original ideas, only to watch overseas companies mass produce similar versions and flood marketplaces with them.😈

This is why so many small businesses are struggling or closing. My sales are down 46% from last year. There was a time I never went a day without an order. Now I can go a week without one while companies with endless resources profit from ideas independent artists created first.📉

So if you ever wonder why supporting small businesses matters, this is why. You're supporting the people with families who create the ideas before they become another mass-produced listing.👩‍👧‍👧

I'll keep creating, and I'll keep calling this out when I see it. Enough is enough.📢
