I was given a task a few weeks ago that made me tremble for a bit. I was asked to cut up mother's wedding gown to make a dressing gown for her daughter's upcoming wedding. Not gonna lie, that first cut was so hard. But I got into the groove quickly. This project was so fun!

Finally finished a project that has taken 18 years to complete. I only worked on it during beach vacations. So either I worked too slowly, or we didn't have enough beach time the last 18 seasons 🙃 I'm torn on whether to keep it as a tree skirt, or cut apart for pillows. Thoughts?

While I am thankful that this has been the busiest Spring for alterations to date, I need to let everyone know that I will not be taking any new work until September. Effective April 27, I will not be taking any new sewing jobs until the fall of 2023. Thank you for your understanding.

In honor of Mother's day, I wanted to post these memory quilts. My client, Sandi gave me a very large box of her Mother's clothes in addition to some yards of fabrics themed on things she loved to do. I made her 5 quilts, one for each sibling.
