Forty years ago today, James Cameron taught us there was more than one.

Aliens exploded into theaters on July 18, 1986, transforming the claustrophobic terror of Alien into a relentless war movie without losing the nightmare at the center of it.

Sigourney Weaver’s Ripley became one of horror’s greatest heroes. The Alien Queen became an instant icon. Hudson gave frightened horror fans everywhere the perfect words for realizing everything had gone terribly wrong.

Four decades later, Aliens remains one of the rare sequels that expanded everything audiences loved about the original while becoming a classic entirely on its own.

To know Jake is to love him, he’s the most creative, caring & hilarious person ever. He deserves every good thing this world has to offer. He’s also an amazing brother which is an awesome bonus to being a great founding partner of HORRID. None of this would exist without him!
