This Saturday December 20th, 3 - 5 PM, come join us for our Holiday Craft Projects Event! Bring a sweater to beautify—or uglify—to your liking by attaching bits and bobs or iron-on designs with our very own Erin on deck at a sewing machine.

We’ll also have other various activities available in our workroom from crafting letters at our letter writing station, creating your own Holiday pins, as well as a station to create-your-own glass ornament by filling it with sparkles or confetti!

We also invite you to come by this Saturday to check out the Holiday selection for a last minute gift for your loved ones (or perhaps yourself?). Can’t make it this weekend? We’ll have the stations ready for your next visit for the next few weeks

Our next event at the den will be our Bits and Bobs Sweater and Holiday Decorating Party, this Saturday, December 13th! Look forward to more details soon.

Our first Featured Event will be one we hope to repeat monthly: our First Friday Artist Showcase!

On December 5th from 6 - 8 PM , we invite you to come meet Harrison! A friendly face behind the counter and offerer of tea, as well as Omni-Artist! He’ll be showcasing some of his framed Black and White Art Studies as well as his Custom Sewing projects from silky kimono to cheeky lacy jockstraps. Whether it’s creating scented candles or tufting rugs, Harrison doesn’t know where his creative inspiration will lead him!

If you want to learn more about Harrison and his creative process, join our Patreon to read his creative process, or come to the shop on December 5th to share a cup of tea or a cocktail at our official *first* First Friday to kick off more to come.

HISTORY of the Project
We started dancing as Kaleidoscope Creatures, moved on to decorate & affirm as BE Boutique (Butterflies Express), and are thrilled to be breaking open the cocoon as the GAZE den.

Why the GAZE den?
‘the GAZE den’ has layers of meaning, is a sneaky homonym, and has powerful & effective symbology.

GAZING. This shared inner spark - self reflection, mutual reflection, connection building - they’re all moments of witnessing. This is core to our mission & vision.

Did you know that a gaze is a GROUP OF RACOONS? Very cool, especially when wrapped in a trenchcoat.

GAAAAAYs?! Fueled by diverse & poignant experiences of q***r identities, the GAZE den moves to be where self-expression is bolstered by sustainability, and where stories bring us connection - through objects & presence.
