✨Update✨

It’s been a while since our last post on African Children’s Haven, the non-profit we partnered with. We recently made our biannual contribution of 10% of our profits, so the founder of the charity sent us an update to share with our customers. 🤍

Our donations help fund the African Children’s Haven Starkid School and Rescue Centre, which home to 38 orphaned and vulnerable children in Nairobi Kenya.

“Although Starkid is currently closed due the COVID emergency we are working with the schools staff to help them resume normal operations early next year. This includes paying partial salaries to out-of-work teachers and supplying funds to get the school ready for reopening in January. In addition, we've also been providing emergency food supplies to both staff and the families of students. We are told that many were down to just one meal a day. Attached is a photo from the food distribution project.”
