As of 6:30 this morning, the roads in Derby are wet, but they are NOT icy! There is a light mist coming down but it is NOT freezing on the windshield. I am sure that bridges are still dangerous at high speeds.

I am not a weather person, but I would ask that you use your best judgment on coming to worship this morning. The Holy Spirit is here and I will have the coffee on for you - and a sermon.

I know that there are a number of churches closed so invite a friend to come!!!! See you at worship. Pastor Ben

Hey Parents of K-5th I also apologize to you as well, that I have not been able to update as much as I should. This month your kids memory verse is one of my favorites. If you want to help your kid learn this memory verse in a fun way go to this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HI-P0uRIcPQ its a fun, easy, and catchy way to memorize this verse.

Hey Parents of PreK I am sorry I have not done well with updating this weekly, I will try my best to update as much as possible. Take a look at what your kids learned about, and continue to ask them questions about this story everyday to keep it fresh in their minds.

Monday: Yesterday, we remembered it feels good to help someone in need.

Wednesday: At dinner tonight, ask: What are some excuses we sometimes give for not helping others in need?

Thursday: It feels good to help someone in need.

Friday: At bedtime, read Nehemiah 5:1-12. Pray for each other to have open eyes to see the needs of those around you, a heart that hurts for other’s needs, and hands willing to jump in and do the work to help them.

Hey everyone, I will be trying to promote this page. It will be used to update parents with events and info for children's classes at the church. My goal is to try to update it every week with info from what the kids are learning about that week. If you are friends with people on facebook that are either: parents of kids K-5th Grade invite them to this page, OR if you know someone with kids K-5th Grade that you have been trying to get to come to church invite them, and maybe they will see a loving page of support and family ministry.
