Shirts Plus History- Part 5: Trunk Shows

In 2012, my cousin Autumn and I decided we should go on the road. Just Be Cuz was because we are cousins. We started with boutique clothing and setting up at our friends and families homes. It quickly grew to custom fan gear and we were doing 3-4 shows a week.

Our first show as for Brenda Cardwell (my aunt, Autumn’s mom). Our second show was for Heather Seier. We traveled all over, started going to schools, large events and even went to Oklahoma for a football game. We had lots of fun but it was a lot of work! We have transitioned to online stores now!

History of Shirts Plus- Part 4: Babies!

We have had many office babies over the years! I’m sure I was first… but I can’t find those photos:) Both of my children have spent a lot of time here. We have also had some buddies with them over the years!

History of Shirts Plus- Part 3:

We moved to our own building in Derby. It’s our current location! We bought the land and built the building.

A perk to your parents owning a small business- you get to work with your friends! We had a lot of fun in high school and college, and some of these friends still work here today!

Josh- our screen printing manager has been here since high school! Travis- his brother- has been here since high school, then left and came back! He’s our amazing artist!
