🎨I scored a set of vintage wood sconces the other day with full intent on taking them from cute to stunning!

I was really excited for this find because how cute is the scallop detail? And I was on the hunt for more items to paint, so it’s almost like they found me 🤣

✍️ After sketching out my plan on the iPad , I hand drew the design onto each sconce. Then shape by shape blocked out each color with acrylic - slowly bringing together the vision.

🛠️ I added new hardware and included the wall side of the bracket - so whoever takes these cuties home will have everything they need to style them in their home!

🎉 Last week I finished this painting on a jewelry box I had thrifted - Sunday it SOLD! I am so excited this beautiful piece found a home with someone who truly LOVED the artwork and now has a one-of-a-kind space to store their bling!

The box was pretty cute on it's own, but I knew it needed something special and whimsy! 🦊

💖 This is 100% free handed in acrylic paint + acrylic paint marker!

👩‍🎨 The Process at glance:
🎨 Using a chalk pen I outlined the design I originally sketched on paper.
🎨 Then I went in with white acrylic paint and created a base layer.
🎨 After that, I painted all of the colors shape by shape.
🎨 My next step involved hitting all of the fine details and embellishments.
🎨 Last step - seal the deal with a clear enamel spray to lock everything in and protect the artwork from scratches! ✅
