I've just about made up my mind. I've had one sale this past month for $40 and it did not cover anywhere near my Etsy fees and advertising. I can't afford to keep losing money like I am. Heartbreaking news for me and our jewelry community here in the United States with the passing of Frank Cafaro, Pawnbroker extraordinaire and Vintage Costume Jewelry Auctioneer. Hailing from Belleview, FL from his "Shop Behind Checkers", Frank worked from his shop of many talents, from Porcelain reclamation and resale to Jewelry and watch repair...just such an amazing, multitalented person with a gigantic well of knowledge on all sorts of things. I purchased a great deal of jewelry from Frank over the past five or so years and he delighted in the fact that he made money for both himself and for me. He was just that kind of guy...happy for himself and for the success of others. This man was also compassionate and generous to a fault. He was always there with a donation in a bad circumstance or eager to make things right when something just didn't go right. I am seriously going to miss this man. Rest well, my friend, and may flights of angels guide you.
