co originated in spring of 2023 by Detroit born and raised artist+designers Jamie Wineman (WolfGangGang) and Leslie Ann Pilling’s (La La Bee).
you might NOT know that Leslie and Jamie have known each other since Jamie was a little in pre-school!
Jamie and Leslie’s son Aaron have been buddies since 1987! It’s only fitting that (many) years later, Leslie would help foster Jamie’s budding visual art career into our brand you see today!
In February of 2023, Leslie put on Jamie’s first solo art exhibition at to rave reviews in Detroit. Jamie knew that his larger than life characters like Scary Bear deserved a life bigger than the canvas. Leslie’s decades of experience in the fashion and art industries gave Jamie a partner who would be able to help bring the world of Scary Bear to life.
The only thing missing was YOU and your squad.
