On this dark morning in American history, we reflect on two tragedies—one that occurred 24 years ago, and one still painfully fresh this morning. Both will forever shape this great nation.
One thing remains clear: if we turn to blaming one another and holding grudges against those who simply disagree, we walk a dangerous path forward. But remember—where there is extremism, there is also resilience. There is always someone alive carrying the hope of the American Spirit.
Maybe that’s a new immigrant arriving the right way, experiencing the American Spirit for the first time. Or an Army veteran who gave their life for your right to disagree. No matter who, they all stood for one truth: Freedom trumps all.
And in the end, America will always hit harder than hate. 🇺🇸
