Ativ (Formally Kre'a'shens) was started by LaJuana, a native Detroiter in 1997. Birthed out of her interest in the arts since childhood, she embarked upon a wonderful adventure of self expression and social growth. ad many jobs, that ranged from Caregiver to Tax preparing but always ends up back to the arts in some capacity, this not excluding the field of Cosmetology. This was the job she spent 20 years in service, while also raising her 4 children: Billy Dee, Chanel, LaJuana Jr., and Kristin. LaJuana draws her inspiration from her aspiration of travel and her infatuation of different cultures. She doesn't consider herself, being traditional but yet eclectic. She often refers to her style as a cross between Pippi Longstockings and Lena Horne, classic with a whole lotta edge!!! If your looking for drab cohesiveness then I'm not your girl,l I like the freedom to change! She has participated in numerous fashion shows and events from Detroit to Chicago, and Columbia, SC . The industry has awarded her the opportunity to work with minor and major talent both local and celebrity, providing clothing for wardrobe stylists from Detroit to Atlanta. Though meeting new people is always exciting, faith and family comes first!! Helping people feel and look beautiful was one of her dreams as a child and now she's living it!!!
