Recently, I had to dust off my copy of the original Chex Quest. While playing this game as a kid back in 96’, I would have never thought I would be presented with the opportunity to bring one of these creatures to life for Chex Quest HD by Chex Mix. I love nostalgia and I absolutely loved working on this project!

Another view of the medallion I digitally sculpted that was a trophy for the World of Warcraft Mythic Dungeon International 2018.

-This was a quick & simple sculpt, thanks to being provided with the logo files by Blizzard. These 2D assets had the layers still intact, which made it easy to convert into alphas.
-Alphas are controlled masks created out of 2D assets that are converted to grayscale that would then be applied to a 3D mesh to create a bas-relief sculpture.
