Are you a pinner, or a winger?

I pin when I really want (or need) a precise seam. Otherwise, I wing it most of the time. Of course, there are times when 'winging it' comes back to bite me. In those moments, I get out the Seam Reaper and the pins and fix it the right way. Should I have pinned to begin with? Probably. But life is short and sometimes we just want (or need) to sew! Finished is always better than perfect anyway, right?

This is a seam that I achieved without pinning. 😊 Yay! Do they all look like this? Definitely not, and I'm OK with that! Pick your battles and do what you want, not what others think you should do. Just say no to the Quilt Police! No one needs that kind of negativity in their life 😉

I had the privilege of quilting this amazing Packers quilt yesterday. Now it's back with its creator for trimming and binding. This quilt will be part of the silent auction at our church! Come and bid on it at The Lord's Acre Bazaar on November 1st at Medford United Methodist Church.
