Lemon Cream Cheese Dump Cake 🍋✨

Ingredients:

1 box lemon cake mix

1 can (21 oz) lemon pie filling

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/3 cup powdered sugar

Instructions:

Prep: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Base Layer: Spread the lemon pie filling evenly across the bottom of your prepared baking dish.

Cream Cheese Layer: In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy. Drop dollops of the cream cheese mixture evenly over the lemon pie filling.

Cake Layer: Sprinkle the dry lemon cake mix evenly over the top of the pie filling and cream cheese dollops. Do not mix!

Butter: Pour the melted butter evenly over the dry cake mix, trying to cover as much of the dry mix as possible.

Bake: Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbly.

Serve: Let it cool slightly before serving. Top with whipped cream and a little extra powdered sugar if desired!
