Remind me to play dress up with ballerinas FOREVER 💫 Lasts nights Portrait Gallery Event was another smashing gathering of amazing women putting their feminist money where their feminist mouths are- thereby facilitating me and all of the lady artists I represent at my store AND MAKING THIS STUPID CRUEL WORLD feel way less stupid and cruel. Because WOMEN 👏🏽 👏🏽 👏🏽 Everyone thinks the best part of my job is the travel, but it’s not. It’s the women who come in and make me feel less alone on this flaming ball of patriarchal insanity planet. THANK YOU to all of the Friendoras near and far- thank you so much for coming, messaging, buying things online and in store and allowing me to have this dreamy little store of mine. And a special huge colossal enormous thank you to David Braciak of Dance Dimensions and his gorgeous talented ballerinas for literally gracing us with their very presence. Our final Vintage Night Market is Thursday Oct. 8th from 6-9pm and the theme is Portrait Gallery 🖼️ I have long believed that your home is incomplete until you have faces on the walls (and not YOUR face btw. Nobody wants to see a shrine to your wedding Scheana Shay). I have been busy amassing vintage portraits that will BLOW YOUR MINDS (the one pictured here for example 👆🏽) There will be ballerinas dancing in the streets, classical music blaring from Desiree, faces for days and of course, one unhinged middle aged woman in a vintage Prom Dress (that would be me and to be fair that is not exactly a “one of situation) so come on down to Douglas, its gonna be great 💫

The Old Birds Vintage Night Market IS TONIGHT 💫 and even if you don’t need a vintage dress with a bird on it, come anyway just to witness the literal JOY OF BEING A GIRL - cause there are SO many good kantha quilts, fancy candles, handmade necklaces and vintage dresses (with no birds) THAT I could just die. It’s a bonanza of epic proportions for real, including this 1970’s, size 6/8 ,Quail/Moon Insanity! In other news the summer season is coming to a close in my tiny tourist town, with this weekend being the finish line in my annual Summer Holiday Trifecta/Feral Children Toxic Boomer Hellscape. We did it! Shoutout to Gina Moriconi Bognar and Tate Crane (Van Koevering) for being the best sisterployees a girl could ask for 😭 Oh! One last thing!
