Shopping for a necktie should never be difficult, yet in most cases it is! The sea of similar looking outdated silk ties fill fixtures at mass retailers everywhere! There is also a little known fact that neckties from virtually every major designer brand you can think of, are outsourced to be made by 2 major companies. The tie label may read a designer name but that’s not

actually who made it. Now you've lost the art of what a necktie was meant to be and do - offer a man a unique way of distinguishing himself over the other. Bobby NYC was created to counter this lost art. Our mission is to offer an alternative to the standard silk tie. We offer a refined reinterpretation of the classics. To do this, we looked to the past for cues on heritage and embraced the many innovations of the present. We set our sights on implementing the best processes to ensure proper craftsmanship and character to every tie, bow-tie and pocket square we created. From learning about the varying textures different silk worms produce to the intricate weaves that can be created when using traditional and rare shuttle looms to the updated and more modern knitting techniques used to produce our classic knit tie. We found that making a necktie is deeply intricate and truly an art. The heritage of tie making is filled with hundred of years of history, innovation and refinement. We made sure to adhere to the experts and take creative liberties when possible to offer a truly unique product that is set apart from all others. Each piece reflects its own character.
