In late June, Antonio Contreras produced a fabulous event "Runway of Pride" at Glide Memorial Church. Our three winners from WLHxSFAA; #1 Eva Kam, #2 Mimi Shen & #3 Michal Rezoni (missing image) were invited to show their designs along side the great and venerable Pat Cleveland and many other local up and coming SF designers!

The lovely Ramona Giwargis, journalist extraordinaire and certified fashion designer, has been a devoted life long fan of Halston. Last fall she visited the Halston retrospective exhibit in Odessa, TX at the Ellen Noel Museum, where she wore a hand sewn Halston dress from a vintage McCalls pattern. Ramona currently is supporting our With Love Halston non profit through her purchase of these two posters of 1970s Halston Originals illustrated by Joe Eula. They are on display at her sewing studio called Stitch and Sip in Las Vegas. The Spring With Love Halston challenge at Drexel University was fantastic. The students have so much talent and we appreciate how much effort they put in to channeling Halston’s timeless aesthetic. Thank you to Drexel University faculty Lisa Hayes and Kate Bianco and our dear Sandra Blumberg and The Dogooders of Philadelphia for bringing WLH to the University and to our esteemed judging panel including Cynthia Nordstrom and Ken Downing of Halston. Thank you also to The Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation for their generous support of this scholarship. Congratulations to winner Jason Trosset - one to watch!

A fabulous night awarding the winner of the With Love Halston scholarship challenge at Drexel University. The students did such a wonderful job on the design challenge and it was a great night celebrating Halston in Philadelphia. Be among the select few to own these incredible reproduction posters that duplicate the look of Halston’s corkboard at his Atelier at Olympic Tower. All the artwork is derived exclusively from the official Halston archives directly from Halston’s personal collection and originally created by Joe Eula and Steven Sprouse. Halston used to lay out all the sketches, and then select which looks would be included in his seasonal collection.

Watch the video! We had an incredible day in San Francisco on May 8 to celebrate Union Square in Bloom by JP Morgan Chase with the BLOOM FASHION SHOW presented by Levi Strauss & Co. We partnered with the Academy of Art University for our latest design challenge where students designed floral themed fashion with a Halston aesthetic.
