End of an Era. I closed the store front almost one year ago. I finally scraped my windows last month. This was my baby for three years, but overall 15 — hobby turned business.
If you’re holding onto something because it’s beautiful, or because you built it, or because letting go feels like erasing the years you put into it — it’s not erasure. It’s proof. This space was the last proof of a time that is no longer. Proof that I was VZZ Vintage. Proof that I built something wonderful & lived in it fully. When it was time, I let it go. The story doesn’t disappear when the thing does.
I closed my storefront chapter & I’ve decided to take a vintage sabbatical this year. I’m shifting my focus on my family up north. Many of you know my Dad had a stroke 2.5 years ago. We need to purge & sell my childhood home. It’s a huge undertaking. I’m helping out as much as possible weekends of 2026. I will be listing items for sale on my stories here & there. Along with reaching out to other vintage seller friends on more specific pieces. Everything that sells will help pay for my Dad & Step-Mom’s continued living expenses.
Although, I will be busy in a different way, I’m very much looking forward to slowing down & getting back into hobbies & projects that bring me joy & allow to unplug.
Thank you for all of the support over the years! It has been such a wonderful ride meeting fellow vintage lovers, customers & making friends!
