Just chillin’ under my latest FO. I’m calling it my “Mountain Meadow Blanket” since it’s made with Mountain Meadow collection…and I don’t have the brain capacity to come up with a name on my own. 🥸

I’m so addicted to these! I mixed it up on this one and alternated the stitch pattern each color.

-Cast On 172 stitches
-Slip the first stitch of each row purlwise throughought.
-Garter Section
-Stockinette section (with garter edges)
-Alternate with each color until you’re done!

Viola!

This FO has been on quite the journey! I started size 5 in 2021. Once the body was completed, I realized it was going to be too big, so I 🐸 frogged the entire thing and restarted size 3 in 2023 for the for the .

This project taught me something very important. I’m allergic to Mohair! This made it take a lot longer to finish since I could only touch it for about 30 minutes at a time.

BUT I’m no quitter! A little a little Benadryl and pure stubbornness goes a long way.

Last night I finally finished! She’s beautiful and will be a nice gift for someone who doesn’t break out in hives. 😬

Fiberuary Challenge Day 9

My first ever fiber festival with friends…Rhinebeck 2023.

This was such an awesome experience with so many fun memories…and I spent way too much money. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

Also, cheers to those winning at the Fiberuary Challenge. 🥂 So far I’m 3 for 9. 🤷🏻‍♀️ What day is it? I’ve lost all track of time. 🫠

Fiberuary Day 2 - A 2023 Memory

My very first time ever eating lobster! 🦞 I had just met my new friend Whitney. We were at Wool & Folk escaping the crowds. It was pouring rain! 🌧️ The lobster roll was delicious. I’ve never had so much fun looking like a drowned rat. Best part, I made a new forever friend.
