Our delivery mission has come to an end! We served 58 families this summer and hand-delivered over 2000 articles of clothing!  we look forward to serving even more families next summer!

We are so proud to serve our community and are so grateful for our volunteers!

If you’re interested in volunteering hours are Monday mornings 9 AM to 11 AM!

We are located in the lower level of, Durand United Methodist Church and we are open the second and fourth Monday and Friday of every month!

Everything is free here at Mary’s closet and we have enough socks to keep 20 babies feet warm!!

We have lots of 18 month boy clothes
Lots of kid swimsuits and shoes!
More baby items came in this week and our baby item section is loaded with car seat covers, receiving blankets, bottles, two bags of diapers, two gas stove covers, and baby blankets!!

Thank you so much for those who have donated these baby items!

Mary’s closet is a free clothing ministry, which is housed in the lower level of Durand UMC. It’s made possible through clothing, donations, and financial gifts given to Mary’s closet not to mention the tireless work of many of our volunteers.
one of those volunteers is Mackenzie Camp, Mackenzie has been volunteering at Mary’s closet for over the past six months, and since that time she has made it her personal mission to serve families that she connects with through Facebook, when she hears of a need, she jumps into action sorting and even delivering clothing to people who need them she writes in her mission

“ Mary’s closet outreach mission is another way that Mary’s closet is helping people with their clothing needs. It’s for people who can’t make it to the closet due to lack of transportation or disability. We believe that clothing is special because it represents who we are and that everyone deserves to have that for no charge.”

The “Mary’s closet outreach mission “ will end on August 20 but will begin again next summer!

If you’re wondering what you can do to support this mission donate your claim gently use clothing of all sizes along with shoes, purses, and accessories. Your donations can be placed in the shed that is located behind the Durand unit at the church. Please don’t leave other items in the shed as we don’t have space to store them, financial gifts are also appreciated and checks can be made out to Mary’s closet.

Volunteers are always welcome to come help with the sorting on Monday mornings from 9 AM to 11 AM!

Mary’s closet is open to the public the 2nd and 4nd Friday and Saturday of every month!
