Sometimes, on our morning walks, we pause to watch one of God's little creatures slowly make its way across the sidewalk, determined to reach ground on the other side.

Even the smallest of His creations remind us of the beauty of perseverance.

In February, Tyler and I began helping stock a food blessing box in our community each week.

Although Tyler has a rare genetic syndrome, that has never kept him from finding ways to love and serve others. He has taken ownership of this weekly donation with compassion and enthusiasm. If you spend time with him, you’ve likely heard about it!❤️

Each week, he helps choose the groceries, organize them, pull from our storage, and stock the box. And every week, I get to watch my son love people he may never meet.

We took a little detour from our usual walk this evening and spent time at the park. Turns out, Shamu likes to swing, too. 💙

He’s tucked beside Tyler for almost every adventure. Big or small, he’s always along for the ride.
