It's been a slow progress since we kind of put it on the back burner to jump over to add on to my shop...twice!! This little room housed my furniture refinishing business, a workout room for our kids, and right after Ricky finished it, I used it to sell suits for a season!! We started framing it in for a photography studio in December 2021!! It's been in use since August 2024, but now the outside matches the inside!!

My addition to my little "shed in my yard" is almost complete. Some new light fixtures to come and a little more paint and we will be ready for Homecoming '26!!

I have some new vendors and lots of new beautiful merchandise!! I have already seen about a dozen Mardi Gras '27 maids. And I have appointments with a couple of pageant contestants today!!

I'm excited for a new season in my new space!!

2 for 2 this weekend!! Karaline Leblanc is the new Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival Queen!! Karaline is very special to me, I got to dress her for interview for the last 2 years and my husband also did her headshots for the pageant!! I cannot wait to dress her for more events this year!! I can FINALLY see my desk again!! Construction is about 85% complete. And yes it took 3 months to add a 9x12 storage closet 🤪!! Between the weather and a carpenter that was doing this on the side, it took a minute. Thanks to the everyone that was patient with me through this process!! I can't wait to get the last racks in here so that I can start prepping for homecoming 2026. As you can see I have some fabulous derby and summer hats out and more to put out!! That's going to have to wait until next week because I have a trip with my son planned for the weekend to go and watch my daughter play some softball!! Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!!
