Just finished a leather bracer for a WIP Steampunk costume.

- 2 sq ft mid weight leather
- 68 matching copper pennies
- 92 brass rivets
- 4 brass buckles
- 1 large bottle of tabasco sauce
(to clean the pennies)

Best of all, if you lick it it makes your tongue burn.

My favorite shot from the Star Wars race weekend. Note that they did not allow Madi to run in the Death Star skirt but I was able to argue my way past with Dark Helmet.

Preview of the BB-8 skirts I made for my daughters to wear at Disneyland next week. The Fleece style is for the 1/2 marathon on Sunday and the Duct Tape version is just for fun at the park.

With the change to the Run Disney rules, my planned mashup Padawan Kronk costume - my original Kronk with a different tent, Yoda as a passenger, "Remember Alderan" bumper sticker, soundtrack, etc. - is no longer allowed. Here is a shot of the new tent with work halted just before I was to apply the Jedi Academy lettering and symbols. Not sure what I will do with all of the green and tan feathers...

Finally getting around to poseing a couple of shots from the Rock and Roll Vegas race. It rained, the wind blew and it got cold but the makeup didnt run at all. That said, the cape turned into a sail for the past 5 miles running into the wind and it felt a lot more like a full marathon than a half

Successfully tested the Kiss Demon costume for the Rock and Roll Las Vegas marathon sans makeup and wig. Here are a few shots of the outfit during creation. It is made of EVA foam, black vinyl, oodles of leather studs, paint and yards of elastic.

Oh, and somewhere back in February this happened. Anyone can wear a tux but it takes stones to wear a proper kilt.
