I was able to take a jewelry course at the Baum school of Art earlier this year and learned riveting. Riveting involves connecting metal pieces without heat, but instead creating joins with a connection wire. This is a copper necklace playing with texture and riveting. Each section is sawed, textured and then connected with silver riveting. The rivets allow the copper peices to move in a flexible way. A simple pair of hammered copper earrings are a good compliment.
