I've been keeping this one a bit of a secret, but now that the beetle is complete I feel compelled to share! This is the Beetle Bug Sweater pattern by Oliver. I am not using the recommended yarn (bulky size 5 or 6) or hook size. I went down to a size 4 yarn and 4mm hook for this one. I might try one again some day using the recommended yarn and hook to see how big it actually turns out. The back of the sweater took forever, simply because it was so boring for me, but the beetle side didn't take a long because I couldn't wait to see the results. I'll post another photo of the finished sweater after the sleeves and sewing are complete! 😍
