From the trapline to the wedding party.
This custom groomsmen set features hand-cut and hand-stitched leather wraps accented with beavertail leather.
The groom provided tails from beavers he harvested himself, allowing me to incorporate a material that is rarely seen but incredibly unique. The natural texture and appearance are unlike any other leather.
Beaver are often trapped for their fur, while the tails are frequently overlooked. I was able to transform these tails into something that can be carried, used, and appreciated for years to come.
Every flask in this set was handcrafted and personalized for the occasion, turning a successful season on the trapline into meaningful gifts shared among friends on a special day.
There's something rewarding about creating an heirloom from your own catch.
