Eaton Parks & Recreation is looking for NFL FLAG Football Officials for the 2026 Preble County NFL FLAG season!

If you're at least 15 years old, enjoy sports and want to make a difference while earning extra money, we'd love to have you on our team.

✅ Season: Aug. 23 – Oct. 18💲 Pay: $15 per hour👤 Minimum Age: 15

Help provide a fun, safe and positive experience for our young athletes while being part of one of the area's fastest-growing youth sports programs.

Two days and counting! Join us at Main Street Aquatic Center Friday!

3 days to the big event! Dive In Movie 2026 is this Friday, July 24th! Free pool admission all day long (open at 12pm), inflatables/games from 5-8pm, and movie starts at dark. Total capacity of 500 people will be enforced. People are encouraged to bring your own chairs. Inner tubes are not permitted in the water.

During Monday night's Eaton City Council meeting, Mayor Joe Renner proudly administered the Oath of Office to Officer Emma Rich and Officer Zach Ward, officially welcoming them to the Eaton Police Division.

As they begin their careers serving the City of Eaton, we thank Officers Rich and Ward for answering the call to protect and serve our community. Their commitment to public safety, professionalism and service will help strengthen the outstanding work of the Eaton Police Division.

🏅 Congratulations to three outstanding Eaton High School student-athletes who were recognized by Eaton City Council during Monday night's meeting!

Mayor Joe Renner and members of City Council honored Katie Betzner, Julianne Deaton and Joel Appledorn with proclamations recognizing their exceptional achievements during the 2026 OHSAA Track and Field season.

🏅 Katie Betzner, a sophomore, earned a seventh-place podium finish in the Division III girls discus with a season-best throw of 122 feet, 11 inches, while also qualifying for state in the shot put. She finished 17th in the shot put and established herself among Ohio's top Division III throwers.

🥏 Julianne Deaton, a senior, qualified for the Division III State Championships in both the discus and shot put, finishing 11th in the shot put with a throw of 36 feet, 1¾ inches and 16th in the discus. She capped an outstanding career representing Eaton at the highest level of high school competition.

🏆 Joel Appledorn, a sophomore, placed 11th in the Division III boys pole vault, clearing 13 feet, 6 inches while competing against Ohio's top vaulters. His performance marks him as one of the state's rising talents in the event.

The City of Eaton is incredibly proud of these outstanding student-athletes for their hard work, dedication and the way they represented our community on Ohio's biggest stage.
