There is something extra special about turning a collection of favorite jerseys into a quilt that tells a story.

This quilt was created for Jackson, preserving memories from his baseball journey—from team jerseys and championship moments to his love of the game. We even added baseball-themed quilting and a personalized photo label on the back to make it a keepsake he’ll treasure for years to come.

Every memory quilt is one of a kind because every life and every story is unique. It is such an honor for us to help preserve those memories in a way that can be wrapped around you for years to come.

The mix of shades of green fabrics, forest prints, deer, snowy scenes, and evergreen trees creates a cozy, warm winter feel. The fabrics add a little bit of the outdoors, and the tree appliqués bring the whole design together. The tree design is quilted in to complete the outdoor theme. This one-of-a-kind quilt was created from the leftover tidbits trimmed from the backs of previous quilts. Instead of letting those beautiful pieces go to waste, they were thoughtfully saved and transformed into this vibrant work of art.

Every strip tells the story of another quilt, another family, another memory. The bold black framing brings all those cheerful colors together, creating a design that’s both modern and full of personality. No two quilts like this could ever be made exactly the same!

🍎 Some quilts bring back the sweetest memories. 🍎

The moment I saw this beautiful quilt, I was taken right back to kindergarten.

I can still remember carrying my little tote bag on my very first day of school. It had warm reds and golden yellows, little apples stitched across it, and even a tiny schoolhouse. Seeing these fabrics instantly brought all of those happy memories rushing back. I was so happy when she agreed, apples were the perfect pattern to quilt.
That’s one of the things I love most about quilting… every quilt carries a memory, and sometimes it even brings back one of your own. ❤️

The Salem Homecoming, held on the first Sunday of August, welcomes friends, neighbors, returning families, and visitors alike to enjoy a day of fellowship, delicious food, Welsh song, and the rich heritage of this historic church.
