I am loving being back with my little helper who is an avid jewelry sorter. She looked at this brooch and said it was beautiful and that the stones aren't cold so they must be glass or plastic. Correct, my girl! She also likes to pick out pieces for herself and loved ones so I have to limit her to just a few pieces! :)

Grateful for my returning customers. These beauties sold on eBay over the weekend. Shoutout and a huge thank you to Bevo’s Flips for the inspiration to try a different organization method for my listed jewelry.
I used to put it in a labeled drawer but then had to search through dozens of loose pieces to find an item that sold. I used clean cookie bags and numbered each before putting the items in the drawer. So easy to find which saves me time plus the jewelry is protected from possible scratches.

Three vintage brooches I picked up in the UK. They aren't perfect but they do have character. For example, the layered leaf pin was assembled using a wire. The wire is a little loose and the center can move. The same is true of the rectangular pressed brass! These two have older style clasps as well. One boasts a c clasp and the other a trombone clasp. The "newer" pin with three fleur d li has a roll over safety clasp. It is likely made by Spinx as it is numbered.
I always try to include pictures of the backs. You can often learn more from the back of jewelry than from the front!

I think it would look nice with a contrasting color in the center ring and possibly in the two triangles on each side.

Someone earned these pins at ski schools in Austria!🇦🇹

Westendorf is a typical Tyrolean village in Austria's Brixen valley. The Westendorf ski resort is situated on an open plateau in the wide Brixen valley about 15 kms from Kitzbühel. This pretty Tyrolean village is small and the skiing is nice and uncomplicated. Westendorf is now is an invaluable link between Ski Welt resorts and Kitzbuhel's ski area.

Two English classics - a racehorse and Paddington Bear. Did you know Paddington Station in London has a statue of Paddington where many people stop to take photos. Confession time: I regret feeling too old to go get my picture made with Paddington when I was there! The fun thing is there are Paddington's all over the place. I do have a picture with him on a bench in Salisbury!
