Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!

Today it's a girl's pageant wear that we show you!

Our altered outfits include a custom USA made crepe jumpsuit, with organza ruffle accents, by J. Marie Designs- an outfit that Fairy Godmother Alterations previously altered, but now let the bodice with bedazzled boning out a little to keep up with this growing princess.

Her organza gown by One More Couture-OMC, in Red, originally had a lace-up back closure that she wanted Fairy Godmother to convert to a zip-up!

Once the fully beaded zip-up bodice with v-neck and basque waistline fit her perfectly, Fairy Godmother also added boning and cups into the lining of the bodice so that there would be shape and structure.

Next, Fairy Godmother adjusted the rhinestone-embellished double spaghetti straps, that she chose to wear with one strap over the shoulders and the outer straps off the shoulders.

Final touches included hemming the longer lining layers to the pleated and full A-line skirt with train, so that they wouldn't peak out under the outer organza layers.

Do you want your gown with lace-up back convered to zip-up, or vice versa?
Contact Fairy Godmother today, and see what she can do for you, so until then, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!

For today's wedding, we present an Ivory chiffon bridal gown to you!

Fairy Godmother Alterations resized this discontinued and past-season Jessica style gown by Maggie Sottero, that this Bridal Princess chose to wear without the detachable cowl detail at the back of the lace-outlined neckline.

To resize this gown a few sizes down, Fairy Godmother started with taking the ruched bodice in a good bit along both the button-covered zipper seam, and at the side seams, of this low scoop back bodice.
Originally, the covered buttons to the hem were also on top of the peeping lace detail that peaked out behind the edge of the chiffon bodice, but both the Bride and the Fairy thought the bodice would look better if the row of buttons didn't extend past the crisp outline of the chiffon edge of the neckline, making the fine beaded lace embellishment stand out more.

Fairy Godmother also shortened the delicate beaded spaghetti straps that go to the sweetheart neckline, and hemmed the bottom of the A-line skirt with lace-trimmed train.
An American style bustle was also added for the flowy chapel-length train.

Today this Bride will look dreamy in her illusion lace-outlined gown that is perfect for today's out-door wedding.

And happy 250th birthday to our one nation under God!! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ πŸŽ† πŸŽ‡ 🧨

And on this day today, a little infant girl will be baptized in her Orthodox Church, in this adorable little white robe with matching bonnet that Fairy Godmother Alterations got to customize. πŸ’§ β›ͺ️

This new mamma wanted some lace from her wedding dress added onto this Christening robe, so Fairy Godmother embroider-stitched the ivory lace on both the front and back of the little outfit, including the bonnet. πŸ‘°β€β™‚

She will now be baptized in a special one-of-a-kind christening robe, that may also be worn by her future siblings. ✝️ πŸ‘Ά

Today it's a girl's three dresses worn for the Miss Virginia pageant that we share with you!

The main dress in the middle is an Ivory glitter tulle ballgown with court train by Rachel Allan from their Perfect Angels line, that this princess wore without the decorative bows on the straps.

For this basque-waist princess gown with spaghetti straps, Fairy Godmother Alterations resized this gown, and mainly took in the fully beaded and rhinestone embellished lattice patterned bodice in along the zipper at the back- a lot of work!

The other two sleeveless dresses were both simple satin and tulle dresses that have bows tie at the back.

The shorter, light purple one with the pearl embellished belt, was taken in at the satin V-back bodice.
This was now a perfect dress for her to sell cookies in! πŸͺ πŸͺ

The White floor-length one with rhinestone embellished belt was already a perfect fit, but Fairy Godmother just trimmed the outer tulle layers to this A-line skirt as they were only a few inches too long.

These dresses were all now perfect for this princess, and we hope she had fun at the Miss Virginia pageant πŸ‘Έ

Another weekend, meaning another round of gowns that we show you!

For today's wedding, this Bridesmaid will be wearing this stretch satin Wren style gown by AZAZIE, in the Frosted Lilac color, without the optional spaghetti straps.

For this simple floor-length gown, Fairy Godmother Alterations hemmed the flowy single-layer A-line skirt with bold leg slit,
and took the bodice with straight neckline in along the zipper seam at the back.

Now a perfect fit, this Bridesmaid will be the epitome of modern sophistication in this strapless dress with a touch of allure.

Today it's a girl's scuba pageant wear with ruffle sleeves that we present to you!

For a pageant that took place this past weekend, Fairy Godmother Alterations let down the hemline as much as possible to the color block bodycon mini dress, with asymmetrical neckline, by Jovani Fashion, in Pink/Orange.

For the one-of-a-kind and custom-made one-shoulder jumpsuit with spaghetti strap in similar colors, by J Marie Designs, Fairy Godmother hemmed up the flared pantlegs to shorten them just a bit.

Now this pageant princess was ready to present herself in these brightly colored scuba outfits that were each at the perfect length.

And remember; if you are competing in the upcomming Shenandoah County Fair Scholarship Pageant, we can do all the alterations for you too! πŸ‘‘

Until next time, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!
