Many of you know Olivia as the Clay County Fair Queen, but before long she’ll be trading county fairs for airports as she begins an exciting new chapter with Southwest Airlines.

I’m headed home from what was probably the quickest and most successful buying trip to date.

Fall is complete, the orders are written, and there are lots of new western, boho, and everyday styles headed our way over the next few days and weeks. I can’t wait to start sharing what we found.

Now I’m trading Atlanta traffic for country roads, cornfields, and my favorite storefront.

Mama Gloria and I are spending one more day in Atlanta, soaking it all in before we head home tonight. 🤎

We’ve been busy shopping new collections, finding a few sweet surprises, and making plans for the seasons ahead. Summer isn’t over yet, but we’ve definitely been peeking at some fall pieces that have us excited.

I won’t be in the store today, but our trusty Aunt Amy will be holding down the fort from 10-5. The AC is on, the doors are open, and I’m sure she’ll have a running list of everything I need to take care of when I get back—she’s much more organized than I am. 😂

Stop in, say hello, and give her some company today. We can’t wait to get back and start sharing everything we’ve found with you all!

Before heading to Atlanta Market, I spent a few hours with my friend Lauren Oaks talking business, branding, customer experience, and the future of Serene & Silk.

From building successful brands to interviewing some of our favorite country artists at CMA Fest, Lauren brings a wealth of experience and perspective, and I’m thankful for her willingness to share it.

One thing I’ve learned this year is that if you want to grow, you have to be willing to learn from people who challenge you to think bigger.

I left Nashville with pages of notes, a clearer plan, and a lot of excitement for where we’re headed. Not because we’re changing who we are, but because we’re becoming even more intentional about who we want to be.

Now it’s off to Atlanta Market to keep dreaming, learning, and bringing the very best back to our little corner of Illinois. 🤎
