Our collaboration with Funny Company in Japan produced this truly amazing pair of hand tooled boots.

Their creativity is unsurpassed, and their attention to detail is simply incredible. Every element of these boots reflects their extraordinary craftsmanship and artistic vision.

Stallion Boot Company began in 1979 when Pedro Munoz met Jose Gallegos and Plutarco Rodriguez, both master bookmakers. They joined forces to start a boot company, first named Gallegos Boots. Jose Gallegos designed the boots that we still call “Gallegos” and continues to be a favorite for all Stallion customers. As Jose Gallegos’ health started to decline, he wanted to be bought out of the boot company, which Pedro accommodated his request, and shortly thereafter incorporated the boot company with the name of “Stallion Boots”. Plutarco Rodriguez continued as a shareholder with Stallion Boots for several more years, and decided towards the end of his life to also be bought out, however, remained working until his passing. Pedro honored both men and has always credited them for his start in the boot business. Pedro designed his first pair in 1974, and his love of boot making began! His dream of owning a boot company came true with the meeting of these two master boot makers, and the rest is history. After 45 years, he has maintained the quality and craftsmanship that he learned from both Gallegos and Rodriguez.
