Lord tonight we pray for the cowgirl struggling through the summer grind. She started the year with big plans and goals. She's found herself in the driver's seat for plenty of late nights and early mornings. Unfortunately she's paid her fair share in entry fees with not nearly as many checks in the mail. As the miles and fuel receipts add up so does the doubt in her mind. Some times it's easy to forget what really matters and the gift the opportunity truly is each time she steps into that arena. So tonight Lord we pray for perspective, may she remember the little girl that used to sit in the stands dreaming to be her one day. We pray for patience and discipline to return to the practice pen and sharpen the tools and God given gifts. And most of all Lord, we pray she remembers the real winner in all it... Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We pray that no matter the circumstances in the arena that she seeks the opportunity to shine Your Light and pursue Your will.
Colossians 3:23
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for people.

Lord tonight we pray for the cowgirl leaving something behind. Saying goodbye to a loved one, letting go of a career or relationship, or stepping away from something she never thought she would. No matter how much her heart wants to stay in one place, the world keeps moving forward, and life goes with it. So tonight we pray perseverance through the difficult waters ahead and we pray for strength when her own fails her. We pray she seek You for the journey ahead and find healing in Your word. We pray she finds hope for the future even when the first steps forward are slow.
-Deuteronomy 31:8
"The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."
