Hello from Ireland!

While in Letterkenny, I met with another pre-loved clothing shop owner.

We had a great time getting to know each other and mutually inspiring one another.

She has much more experience than I do in this area and she graciously took the time to offer her thoughts and advice for the business (es). I have a feeling you'll be hearing more about Sheila and the Circular Dress Collaborative in the future!

Here's our first collab, where I showed her one of my favorite "clothing hacks". I think you'll be seeing more of these in the future too!

Hope you all are well! ❤️🇮🇪❤️

The Twin Town signing happens tomorrow! All are invited to this historic reconnection.
*For those who aren't already aware, Elizabethtown was founded by Barnabas and Elizabeth Hughes, who were from the Letterkenny region of Ireland - County Donegal.
Our two towns became Sister Cities in 2002.
In 2014, due to an economic collapse, the Letterkenny town council was dismembered, making the memorandum and Sister City partnership null and void.
This was discovered in late 2023 and plans to reconnect us have been in motion since.
Tomorrow, Monday, July 6th, we officially sign a new charter and agreement to become Twin Towns.
And on Tuesday, 11 of us will travel to Letterkenny and the surrounding areas to connect with the leadership, businesses and community members, immerse ourselves in Irish culture via food, music, museums, and conversations, and form strong ties to carry this partnership into the future with purpose and enthusiasm!

This Monday, July 6, 2026, signing delegates from Letterkenny, Ireland will join Mayor Clark and several Borough Council members virtually to officially sign the Twin City Agreement.

Although the ceremony itself will be held online, community members may join the Elizabethtown delegation in person at the Borough Office (600 S. Hanover St.). Plan to arrive by 8:55 a.m., as the virtual ceremony will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m.

Don’t miss this exciting step in creating opportunities that enrich both communities through mutual respect, cooperation, and shared experiences!
