400 dresses along with 50 dolls and t-shirts were delivered to Living Hope International last week. The dresses will be going to Kenya and Honduras.

A total of 16,044 dresses and 1548 dolls have been sent out since the 2017 when the Elizabethtown, PA Chapter began its mission.

We at Dress A Girl Around the World from Etown, PA and the ETown Sewing Studio have so much to be thankful for. We have been blessed with so many donations that once again confirms God’s grace in our lives. We are in awe of the goodness that surrounds us. At a time when stores are closing where we would normally purchase fabric, boxes of donations have been dropped off at the sewing studio as you can see in the pictures below. In addition, Elizabethtown Chapter has been acknowledged by the local Merchandiser. And lastly, some pictures of the dress style that we make.

If you’re interested in volunteering your time or in making a donation please contact Linda Tressler at 717-808-8791. You don’t have to know how to sew as there are many different jobs that go into making a single dress. We are located at 222 Peach Alley, Elizabethtown, PA 17022

Below is a copy of a message and photos we received from one of the missions personnel at the Maternity Center in Uganda:

“So I was walking through the village and saw a little girl wearing one of your dresses. Then we were doing assessments on pregnant women and a mama came in wearing your dress too! They love them and saved them to wear as their "good" clothes to see the doctor! The t shirt dresses were a particular hit. Thank you so much again! Such an amazing blessing to so many women and girls”.

Shown below are photographs of village girls returning to the missionary house at the Milandila Pregnancy Center in Uganda, where 300 dresses were generously donated.
