Today is the final day of the Elk Grove Spring Palooza. The Innersoul Band will be at the Strauss Island Stage and the Western Idol contest will be finishing at the Rotary Grove Stage. Have you already visited the Big Day of Giving website to support your favorite local nonprofit organization? Of course, the Elk Grove Lions Club is there along with several outstanding local organizations like Elk Grove Hart, EG Historical Society, Teen Center of Elk Grove, the Elk Grove Regional Scholarship Foundation, Senior Center of EG, Soroptimist International of EG, Strauss Festival, EG Fine Arts, The Heart of JB, and the Elk Grove Food Bank. I know that budgets are tight for everyone, especially with the rising food prices, but if you can, please consider reaching out to help these organizations who are working to serve the community of Elk Grove. It is almost time. The Elk Grove Spring Palooza will open on Friday at 4pm. I am looking forward to it and I hope you are too. Go to the website at https://ElkGroveSpringPalooza.com to check the schedule so that you don't miss your favorite part of our spring festival. The parking costs $10 but there is no cost to enter the Palooza. Come with your friends and families and enjoy the festivities.

It is officially on May 7th, but you could visit their page and make your donation today, just in case you are too busy on the 7th. The first annual Elk Grove Spring Palooza will open the gate at 4pm on Friday night. We will be back on Saturday and Sunday as well. Don't let the name change from our Elk Grove Western Festival prevent you from bringing your families for a great festival to honor what is great about the Elk Grove Community. We will have live music all three days, including the return of the Western Idol Contest. Of course there will be the carnival, a special kids zone and festival food from several food vendors.
