A rescue quilt! The quilt top was purchased at an antique store. Seams needed mending. Borders were added and then the magic of quilting. Love the ideas the customer had. I wonder if the original owner would be happy with it. I bet so.

Cool story behind this one. “Mom” did the cross stitching on this and then got busy with life. Years later mom is in the care center and son finds the project. After a little repair work on the cross stitching and quilting it just like the picture mom liked, son was so happy to give it to her for a Christmas gift. So cool to be.a part of this special gift.
