Hello everyone! Hope everyone is doing well. What a year it’s been so far 🥴. It’s been some time since I’ve been in here. Frankly, as probably the same for most of you...life just took over in March and hasent really stopped! Both kids have been home remote learning since the pandemic began. I’ve devoted most of my attention to them and making sure all is good ❤️. I missed my sewing camp kiddos this year and wanted to pop in and give a little update.

Stash operated primarily in person. I’ve chosen to put that on pause. During the pandemic, I’ve reevaluated my teaching platform and what will be the future plans. Having to pivot my business has been creatively fun, challenging and exciting. But I am looking forward to it! More to come on this 😉

So ....STASH will be going through some rebranding in the coming months. With that, I have 9 Babylock Anna sewing machines I will be selling. Just in time for the holidays. I’d love to find them all nice homes. These machines have less than 40 hours on them. I’ve had them for two years. All work perfect. I purchased from our local Baby Lock dealer. I will have a separate post for these machines later this week. So check back in if you’re interested. They would make great Christmas gifts!

Thinking about you all and I hope you have a wonderful (safe!) holiday season! And I look forward to many more seasons of creating!

Kind Regards,
Liesel

Hello! I’ve been meaning to pop on here and give a quick summer camp check in with you all.

I feel so humbled by the inquiries for more camps ❤️ Makes my heart so happy that the kids are really enjoying it!

I will be making a final decision in a couple weeks regarding camps. I recently took on a new journey to become a surface pattern designer and have been very active in classes. I would love to bring out a few camps this summer if I can swing it!

I’ll keep you all posted and THANK YOU to all that have reached out! 🥰🥰🥰

Here are some pics of the process and evolution the tote bag took. I added grommets (which I did not have the right tool to install when I made this before leaving on our trip. When we came home, I removed all the original grommets and installed bigger ones with the appropriate tool). The location I took these first few pics were in Kauai at our resort we stayed at. was just what this busy family needed for a place together away and relax 🌺.

We recently vacationed in and Hawaii and I had been gifted vintage Polynesian Barkcloth from my Aunt that has been given to her by my father as a gift over 50 years ago. She held onto this fabric he had brought back (4yards) and when we were all going to Hawaii together. She gave it to me saying “I know you’ll find something to make with this”. I thought long and hard about what I would do...then it came to me. I needed a beach bag! Or an oversized tote to carry around. Here is what I choose. I mixed in cork fabric for my side panels and straps with matching barkcloth underneath for an added pop. It will forever hold a special place in my heart as my father passed away 5 years ago. His favorite place was Hawaii...Dad, this is for you 🌺❤️ #1387
