Ten years ago astronaut Karen Nyberg made a quilt block on the International Space Station - and invited quilters from around the world to submit blocks for a community quilt. Enough blocks for 28 King-size quilts were submitted. Welcoming Quilters and Beginning Quilters
Inspired by quilting, the Twilight Stitchers Quilt group invites anyone that has interest in
quilting to join our local guild. Quilters of all levels from beginners to experienced
quilters are invited to join us for fun and learning as we work through various projects.
For anyone wondering if quilt making is something that they would like to learn. Then come
meet with us and find out more about what goes into making a quilt. We are eager to have
others explore quilt making, will answer your questions, help with any new technique or project you may have. If you are determined, like cutting up stuff and put it back together, having fun, and meeting new friends then this Hobby is just for you and to enjoy.
Join us for our meeting on Saturday, January 14',
1; 9:30a.m. at the Heritage Center (sen
center) in downtown Ellinwood. After our meeting we are having a sewing day to work
on projects. You are most welcome to stay or bring a project of your own to work on.
